Graduate/Professional
The OUAB Grad/Prof Committee is excited to collaborate with the Enterpreneurial Business Law Journal.
On March 11-12, the Entrepreneurial Business Law Journal at the Moritz College of Law is hosting a symposium titled "The Relationship Between American Government and American Business." The programming will examine how the government historically has interacted with business; the effect on individual businesses of that interaction; and the relationship between government, business and the law. A major focus will be the bailouts.
Confirmed special speakers include John Fund, columnist for The Wall Street Journal; Nomi Prins, bestselling author and former managing director of Goldman Sachs; Richard Pildes, law professor at the New York University School of Law; C. Robert Kidder, Chairman of Chrysler; and Larry Hilsheimer, President and COO of Nationwide Direct & Customer Solutions.
The keynote address, meanwhile, is left to former Majority Whip of the United States House of Representatives, Congressman David Bonior.
